Simon Grant-Jones wins top honors

Simon Grant-Jones of Sutton Poyntz, UK was awarded the National Champion Blacksmith title by the Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths for the second year running. The Dorset ECHO is running the news. The Worshipful Company of Blacksmiths is an organization dating back centuries, as it was created in 1325. More information about this group can be found on their website. Simon got in touch with me to offer a quick correction to this story. He was actually reserve National Champion Blacksmith in the UK for the second year running and not champion as mentioned. His work still looks just as fantastic though, and the 2010 competition is just around the corner!
